This was one of my first looks of Lawson during a live-evaluation and he certainly showed me why he’s one of our top 10 prospects in North Dakota’s 2024 class. During Indy drills, Lawson showed off huge amounts fluidity with his poised footwork as he certainly played with plenty of instinct with his athletic movement in the OL group. Diving into 1v1 reps, Lawson showed off a highly catchy first step to the ball as one of the top Midwest offensive linemen I got to watch on Saturday at the North Dakota Flagship camp. Lawson also has a high football IQ and academically has a 4.0 GPA at Grand Forks Red River. He certainly looks like a Division I FCS fit in my eyes and should see his recruitment significantly pick up in the next month or two for sure. Twitter
