Continue ReadingNORTH DAKOTA- Today, we released our final update for the North Dakota 2024 class rankings. We have seen plenty of growth from this class since last summer, last fall, etc. to now to give our Prep Redzone subscribers a full-circle look at how our rankings and why our rankings get updated 3-4 times per year because so much can change in a short amount of time. We look as always, our prospect evaluation process, who climbed into the top 10, key points from this rankings update, and what comes next now that the rankings have been released.
Our PRZ Prospect Evaluation Process:
Our #1 priority and goal with Prep Redzone Dakotas is to put prospects on the map for college coaches and college programs at all levels to advance their exposure. We rate prospects on next-level potential not stats, not on the team’s rankings in the state, it’s all about the prospects potential and how his skillsets fit at the next level when it comes down to measurables, athleticism and everything else that college programs measure as far as skillsets. All prospects will need to have tape available or have been referred to us by our anonymous sources throughout the state. Some prospects will peak early in their high school career and that’s why our rankings change 3-4 times per year at Prep Redzone Dakotas, because we also love to factor in several live evaluations year-around thru prospect camp as games during the fall season, as we have seen prospects within a 3 month span add 30 pounds of muscle and a couple inches of height, while others stay the same. That is our process with every rankings update for those of you that are new to us! The main goal? Expose as many prospects state-wide to make sure they get next-level opportunities thru our network of college programs from Division I FBS, FCS, Division II, NAIA, Division and the JUCO ranks.

Key Points from the North Dakota 2024 Rankings Update
Tight End Domination
We always are in attendance at the NDSU prospect camp every summer, which brings some of the best talent from all over the Midwest to Fargo to really seal our live evaluations to their core. What we noticed from NDSU was how deep this tight end class really was in North Dakota this year, as we saw several TE prospects raise their exposure to the next-level by what they showed off amongst the 500+ prospects in attendance. Two of the biggest risers to my eyes, were West Fargo and Bemidji State commit Tony Leal Tony Leal 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE West Fargo | 2024 State ND , and a prospect that the NDSU coaching staff I could see were loving the upside he showed off was Fargo South’ and NDSU commit Reis Kessel Reis Kessel 6'5" | 205 lbs | TE Fargo South | 2024 State ND , who are two of the five prospects that rose into our top 10 in the 2024 class.
Which Newcomers Rose the Fastest?
There were plenty of names we could throw out there, but these five I thought showed the highest bar amongst our newcomers. Fargo Shanley had a slew of prospects that I didn’t even have tape on from the last 2024 update to being nestled all inside our top 40.
Luke Rogen Luke Rogen OL Fargo Shanley | 2024 State ND , OL, Fargo Shanley Twitter

- Bemidji State Commit
Gavin Lill Gavin Lill 6'0" | 185 lbs | RB Bismarck Century | 2024 State ND , RB/ATH, Bismarck Century Twitter
