We’ve finally gotten some film of 2025 Cabell Midland RB/LB Lance Massey Lance Massey 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB/LB Cabell Midland | 2025 State WV and he’s been a solid addition to the Knights’ backfield this season at running back.
The 5’10 185 senior has flashed some good open-field speed and quickness and is thriving at a new position this season. We’re unsure if he has running back experience in the past, but Massey appears to be a natural at the position. He’s shown good vision and balance as a runner and runs hard creating missed tackles. Massey has very good straight-line speed if he can get in space and has proved to be a balanced running back through the first five weeks of the season.

We’re looking forward to getting to see some game film from 2025 Cabell Midland DB/LB Lance Massey Lance Massey 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB/LB Cabell Midland | 2025 State WV this season and having the chance to evaluate him for the first time. Massey is a D2-level prospect who picked up his first offer from WV State in June after a strong camp performance. He’s on our Watch List until we can evaluate game film which we hope to get this season with more playing time available for his senior year.
We’ll learn more about Massey’s game during the fall but he’s still certainly worth mentioning among Cabell Midland’s prospects to know with more offers sure to come once he posts film.
