Interestingly enough, there wasn’t much of a run game to speak of despite the weather hardly holding up all evening. That being said, Lincoln’s Green-Simmons and Greene both scored on multiple runs. Both Lincoln backs provided tough runs inside the red zone that led to plunges for scores.

had his hands in everything. Taking a look at his rank, you’d see a Division One grade placed on the Lock Haven commit. You can argue that Bermudez was just as valuable to the winning cause as Stevens or Knight. Multiple scores, multiple roles on both sides of the ball, seen catching the ball out of the backfield. Bermudez consistently plays above expectations.
I have to shout out Isiah Thomas Isiah Thomas 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL George Washington | 2023 State PA and the rest of the offensive line for keeping both quarterbacks relatively upright against a star-studded defensive front.

Koyei Simmons-Greene Koyei Simmons-Greene 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Lincoln | 2023 State PA was hardly a new name going into this one. Still, this was the first time I got to see him work live. I came away impressed with his toughness, his balance through the trenches. KGS hit the holes he was supposed to hit, kept Mastery honest and put together an eye-opening game.

The two ranked prospects that suited up for the Railsplitters were worth the trip down to Lincoln HS. I finally got a glimpse at Knani Knight, someone I am higher on than his rank suggests. I love that the kid provides quality reps at backend safety, he has a good feel for the position. Obviously, I didn’t come to see Knight the safety, I came to see Knight the quarterback. Consider me impressed overall. Knight tested the Mastery defense on multiple occasions, showing the confidence he has in his arm. Some of his throws proved to be costly, but I still came away pleased with his overall confidence behind center.
On a quick note, Freshman quarterback Samir Tatum started this contest, looking pretty solid for a kid being thrown into the fire. Knight was sidelined for the first half, yet Tatum still was able to run the offense well. The freshman had the luxury of having Koyei Simmons-Greene Koyei Simmons-Greene 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Lincoln | 2023 State PA , who alleviated pressure off both Tatum and Knight. No player on the field raised their stock higher than the senior running back, who ran through the trenches with power and purpose. Not sure of his stats, yet the young man’s running style is suitable for eight-man boxes, something he faced periodically last weekend. Love his downhill running style, KSG was churning up yards at will. He’s certainly a top 50 running back in the state.
