Five minutes worth of tape out of this soon-to-be junior backer currently up on Hudl. Hybrid backer build and game. First rep on tape shows off a motor and pursuit skills, a backer whose willing to work through traffic to produce. A strip of a QB in the open-field. Second rep on tape is arguably a better one, diagnosing a HB screen headed his way, attacks block set-ups to blow up the set and tackle the ball carrier with harldy and positive yardage gained. Nichols stops a massive gain pretty much on his own merrit. Great introduction to his game, will take a deeper dive at a later date.
