Khalel is a talented dual-threat quarterback prospect who was committed to playing football at Kennesaw State University, however, Khalel has decommitted due to coaching changes within the program per his Twitter profile. Khalel has very good accuracy in throwing the football with a strong arm. As a runner, Khalel can make good decisions and has good speed in the open field. We are excited to see Khalel have the opportunity to excel at this stage.

The Kennesaw State commit got to show off his dual-threat ability in this game, as he was able to escape from pressure from the Cannon defense consistently and make gains out of plays that would have otherwise been losses. When Khalel had time to throw in the pocket, I thought he did a good job of reading the field and making accurate throws at all levels of the defense. Khalel was also effective in some designed quarterback run plays to keep the defense off balance.

Wright is steadily progressing as a passer after having plenty of athleticism, much like his father before him. Wright moved from 119 to 85th in this rankings update, partially because of his ability to escape the pocket and keep his eyes downfield and to dissect defenses with his legs.
