Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Keon stands out on film for his ability to read plays and react quickly. He flows to the ball with speed, delivering strong, well-timed tackles and showing a physical presence in run support. In coverage, Keon stays disciplined, mirrors receivers smoothly, and contests passes with good timing and awareness. His instincts, effort, and ability to make plays in both the run and passing game make him a consistent playmaker who impacts every snap.

Keon is a key defensive addition for the Eagles, transferring in from Maryland with the goal of locking down opposing receivers and adding physicality to the secondary. A true defensive back, Keon brings a confident, aggressive style of play that fits perfectly with Atascocita’s defensive mentality.
He plays with great awareness, tracks the ball well in the air, and isn’t afraid to get physical at the line of scrimmage. Whether it’s man or zone coverage, Keon stays disciplined in his technique and competes for every rep. He’s also a reliable tackler in space, showing the ability to come downhill and make plays on the ball.

played cornerback for Milton Hershey last year. He has good coverage skills. He does a good job dropping in zone coverage and playing both the man and his zone. When the ball is thrown his way, he does an excellent job of getting his hands on the ball. Lovitt showed he is also not afraid to come upfield and make tackles in the open field. Lovitt has all the tools to be an elite cornerback.

Off-Coverage Skills
Will provide a deeper eval at a later time. Re-watching Lovitt’s tape, I might be reaching a bit here with a top 100 placement. Lovitt is going to have to sustain tape like this and expand on his overall skills as a boundary corner if he wants to stay this high on the rankings moving forward. Can play off the LOS and run with kids deep. Plays the football well after breaking toward his target. PBUs, plays the catch-point well, has a couple interceptions to his name. He’s earned the trust of his coaches early on, means a lot, especially for a corner.
