Long, active at the line of scrimmage, good eyes, good nose for the ball. Does a great job of setting the edge, shedding blocks, and making tackles. Most of his film shows good discipline against RPO QBs. Believe he’s a bandit next level because he is active, but also shows range and closing speed. He has athletic tools to drop back into coverage if necessary. Needs to get lower and use leverage more when tackling. Overall, like his aggression, length, discipline, and range. A hybrid player IMO at next level. Needs to develop upper body if he wants to be a true edge. Has ceiling to be an All-ACC player at Virginia Tech.

Playing for the Green Run Johnson is already 6’4 and 230 lbs. he is a force. Johnson will most likely have 10 plus FBS offers by this winter, you would have to believe Coach Elliot and his staff want to keep this talent in state.

Surrounded by playmakers at Green Run Kamren Johnson Kamren Johnson 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL/EDGE Green Run | 2026 State VA should not have any problems making an impact. At 6’4 and 215 lbs. Johnson is going to cause problems for offenses all over the conference from his defensive end position. He plays the game with a high level of football smarts you will not see him get fooled on play-action or any screen pass. His overall pass rushing skills are developing so there is no reason not to believe he will be among the league leaders in sacks for 2023.
