The Erasmus Hall Prospect is next. Murray is an intriguing prospect who can play across the field, and is listed as an ATH, with the ability to play at QB. Hailing from the PSAL League, Murray will make the trip up north next season to suit up for the Great Danes.

Murray will play WR for Albany, and standing at 6’0″ 165-Pounds has a solid size, but should look to add some weight as he enters college. He is a true 50/50 ball catcher, and has an elite first step, and get off, which creates separation from the LOS. He is a quick prospect who excels on special teams, and shows elite footwork, and amazing elusiveness.

He will be utilized early on for the Great Dane offense, as his versatility, along with ability to make plays across the field, creates a mismatch against defenders, which I bet will be taken advantage of. His versatility across the field, and impact on special teams, will make him a major factor for this Albany offense.

Known last year as a quarterback for Erasmus Hall, Murray is now being recognized as a true “ATH” heading into his senior season. While he’ll be lining up all over the field this year, at the showcase he primarily took reps at wide receiver. His release off the line was impressive, and during several reps, it felt like he was operating at a different level athletically. Murray showcased his ability to change speeds and consistently get open in 1-on-1 matchups. His performance earned him an offer from Wagner shortly after the event.

Another Quarterback with extremely high potential Justus Murray Jr Justus Murray Jr 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH/QB Erasmus Hall | 2026 State NY out of Erasmus Hall is a dynamic dual threat who can make an impact with his legs in Erasmus Hall’s dominant running game. As a passer, Murray has some solid arm talent and has the ability to make throws off platform and create from broken plays. Murray Jr will have time to develop and with a run-first offense won’t be asked to carry the team on his shoulders, something important for the development of your quarterbacks. A player to keep an eye on at a top program in the coming seasons.

Behind Vincent Cajano III Vincent Cajano III 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Erasmus Hall | 2023 State NY at quarterback Murray is set to inherit one of the best rosters in New York. Becuase of the squad Erasmus Hall has we have been able to see some flashes of what Murray Jr can do on the field for the Dutchman. Murray Jr is a true duel-threat quarterback, his small frame give him elite agility and movement in and around the pocket. A really smooth release and quick decision making show Murray Jr has all the skills to be a full-time starter with great success next season. Murray Jr has not had the opportunity to really showcase a deep ball but he has really good accuracy and touch in the short to intermediate areas of the field. With three more years to play Murray has time to fill out his frame and really become a high level prospect.
