Judson’s pocket presence is remarkable; he has a sixth sense for pressure, effortlessly sidestepping rushers and keeping his eyes downfield. His footwork in the pocket is smooth and efficient, allowing him to set up quickly and deliver strikes with accuracy. Additionally, Harris possesses an innate understanding of route concepts and timing, enabling him to anticipate his receivers’ breaks and hit them in stride. 1st evaluation –  fundamentally very good, plant & transfer, hips to target, release point, velocity and arm strength all visually impressive and move a college coach to next steps of evaluation. Execution of command at LOS, execution of formation, play call & communication all impressive indicating Harris leads his offense and is an extension of his coaches on the field. Intangibles of RPO execution, throwing WR’s open, giving his WR’s an opportunity at the 50/50 ball all demonstrated on video.

• Ball placement is a strength. Harris has the natural instincts to make plays when forced to improvise.
• Athletic quarterback who is a threat to leave the pocket and gain positive yardage at any time. Possesses very good vision balance, elusiveness and deceptive speed and power as a runner.
• He’s a threat with his legs – his play-fakes are outstanding, and Harris has the ability to manipulate safeties with his eyes.
• He shows the ability to properly gauge deep receivers and effectively drop it in the bucket downfield. Harris has the speed and athleticism to make plays with his legs, and he will be capable if asked to run read-option plays.

• ARM STRENGTH – Harris has ease of motion in making deep/intermediate throws; trajectory and velocity of ball flight & ability to drive the ball in bad weather:
•  ACCURACY – Coaches look for ability to throw WR’s open combined with a catchable ball w/proper velocity: Harris’ ability to throw to the open window with a very catchable ball and in a position to max RAC is impressive.
• Setup/Footwork – Coaches look for proper dropback steps, proper seat position of the ball, standing tall in pocket, pocket mobility, proper balance and transition including back leg follow thru for hip rotation: Harris’ mechanics, transition from back foot to front foot combined with his accuracy are all being performed at a high level.

Playing alongside the previously mentioned Darion Moseley Darion Moseley 6'0" | 155 lbs | WR Thompson | 2027 State AL , the Bumpus Middle School prospect had an excellent year as QB1 of a 7-2 team and will head to Hoover High School next year. Harris is a 5-foot-11, 160-pound three-sport athlete and is widely considered an even more coveted baseball prospect.

Bumpus Middle School is one of the feeder programs for Hoover High School, currently ranked No.7 in Alabama. At the helm of the 3-and-1, eighth-grade Bumpus team is Harris.  Harris is a 5-foot-11, 160-pound, dual-threat quarterback with a very strong arm that he uses to spark an offense that is averaging 26 points per game, in the three games they’ve won. What he does on the football field is only trumped by his accomplishments on the baseball field. He’s widely thought of as a one of the top Pitchers in the country, already hitting 83 mph with his fastball. He brings that same arm strength to the football field, along with a gunslinger mentality that allows for him to fit passes into very tight windows. Without knowing much about the prep baseball world, I have to believe his future is in that sport. However, I also think there’s enough talent in Harris where he could have his choice of sports to play at the next level.
