In this article, we will introduce five Alabama high school QBs to keep an eye on for the upcoming season.
Bobby’s physical profile, mechanics & accuracy are demonstrated on film at a very high level. Kid can “spin it”! Bobby’s demonstrates the ability to throw to open the windows allowing his WR’s to maximize YAC! Bobby is an exceptional QB. His size combined with his feet, transfer, arm strength, velocity and accuracy are executed at a very high level. His ability to stand in the pocket, poised, focused on throwing a WR open to a spot as well as maneuvering in the pocket to work with protection is natural and very effective.
Roberts is a student of the game. He is a winner! He is very talented. He demonstrates the ability to run a college spread offense with efficiency, effectiveness and explosiveness. His ability to manage the offense at the LOS, check calls and deliver are ELITE! Roberts has the “next rep” mentality, always looking to the next play for his team and coaches.
Roberts’ ability to stretch the defense with a vertical push and give his WR an opportunity at the 50/50 ball is highly effective and transferable to the college game.
Roberts demonstrates the ability to throw a WR open, anticipate open windows and place the ball in spots enhancing a WR’s RAC as well as the ability to win a 50/50.

Dyer’s arm strength and velocity are demonstrated on video. His ability to throw the vertical seam, post, take off and deep out are all at a high level with a higher projection moving forward. Dyer’s ability to throw his WR’s open and to spots combined with accuracy allowing his receivers effective YAC is impressive. His skill set as a Dual threat QB as well as a Pocket QB allow for recruitment at a variety of college offensive systems and enhance the ability for Dyer moving forward in the recruiting process.

Jones is athletic, can extend plays creating pressure on the defense and demonstrates the ability to make college level throws. Projection for Jones is at a very high level with continued work on his craft this off season. Release of the ball as well as his mechanics and delivery. Jones’ athletic ability allow him to make a lot of off schedule throws, an added recruiting incentive.
1st evaluation – fundamentally very good, plant & transfer, hips to target, release point, velocity and arm strength all visually impressive and move a college coach to next steps of evaluation. Execution of command at LOS, execution of formation, play call & communication all impressive indicating Harris leads his offense and is an extension of his coaches on the field. Intangibles of RPO execution, throwing WR’s open, giving his WR’s an opportunity at the 50/50 ball all demonstrated on video.
