About Jude

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am explosive off the ball, I use speed and technique to beat offensive tackles in both pass rush and run defense. I can read offensive keys effectively and stay disciplined, And I always stick to my assignments.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Although I am smaller than other defensive ends at 6 feet, I make up for it with relentless work ethic, determination, and grit. I’m the type of player who constantly pushes myself to improve even when others aren't looking. Every time I make a mistake, I sleep on it and I work through myself on what I can do better next time.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received an award for Defensive Linemen MVP at my first BYU Football Camp.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football has taught me so many things that I can apply into my life. And one of these things is trust. Football is a team sport, so it is required to trust your teammate and coaches that they can get the job done on and off the field. And lastly is to trust yourself that you will sacrifice anything to make it into the next level.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Many of the challenges that I have faced is my strength. As I first got put up with the Varsity team, I struggle with offensive lineman due to the sheer strength that they have which can avoid me from making plays. I still have a lot to learn, but given the time as a sophomore I know I'll get bigger and better every year as I continue to work.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for any college that can to give me chance to play at their program. If not, I am willing to be a walk on at their program. I am interested. in Business, Economics, and Trades. My preferences of the areas of colleges that I want to be is in the West. But I am ready to go to any school across the country for an education with the intention to play Football.
