About Josiah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a versatile DE/RB who plays with speed, discipline, and a relentless motor. For my size, I’m exceptionally quick—explosive off the edge on defense and a dynamic playmaker with the ball in my hands on offense. I compete every snap, and my high-level discipline allows me to stay assignment-sound while still creating big plays. I bring a leadership mindset to every practice and game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I bring a competitive, disciplined, and team-first mentality to the field. I’m driven to win and willing to outwork anyone to get better. I lead by example, stay focused under pressure, and approach every rep with intensity and purpose. My mindset is simple: compete hard, stay coachable, and do whatever it takes to help my team succeed. If you want it tougher, more emotional, or more professional.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

“A disciplined, high-motor DE/RB with strong leadership, teamwork, and coachability—driven by a relentless work ethic, competitive mentality, and commitment to elevating my team on and off the field.”

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

“A big challenge I’ve faced is not being used in a way that showed my true potential. It was frustrating, but it fueled me. Instead of giving up, I worked harder, stayed disciplined, and proved myself every chance I got. It taught me resilience and made me even hungrier to find a program that believes in what I can bring.”

What type of college are you looking for?

“I’m looking for a Division I program with a winning culture, high expectations, and coaches who maximize talent. I want a place where hard work, discipline, and competitive drive are rewarded, and where I can grow, contribute, and compete at the highest level.”
