In my eyes, Jo’siah Jones
Jo’siah Jones 6'4" | 180 lbs | WR St. Peter's | 2028 State NY is not very far behind David Forster
David Forster 6'4" | 180 lbs | WR St. Joseph Regional | 2028 State NJ in terms of the pecking order for 2028 wide receivers in New Jersey. He’s extremely long and lean, making him a quarterback-favorite when it’s time to just throw it up. He’s a mismatch with his height and does a phenomenal job of making a play on balls that look to be uncatchable.

– Of the five receivers in this write up, Jones is listed as the tallest and longest of the bunch – stretching out to 6-foot-3 and 150 pounds as he’s set to start his eighth grade year
– As you can imagine, the biggest take away from his game is that he’s a big time vertical threat down field. Having more than just a handful of inches on the majority of the defensive back’s tasked with covering him, all a quarterback has to do is throw it up to him
– While he certainly makes the biggest splash on the offensive side of the ball, he can also play free safety. Doesn’t have elite speed at this point, but can cover a lot of ground with just a few strides. How much weight he can add and his level of physicality will go a long way to determining how far he goes
