Background: Terry is a prospect who has not received a ton of attention for St. Peter’s in Staten Island. That changes today. The Staten Island prospect is a name who I expect a big season from, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see making a name for himself this season.
Measurables: Standing at 5’11” he has excellent height for a WR prospect. He should look to keep growing. His weight is where he should look to improve, as at 145-Pounds he is underweight and should minimum reach the 180-Pound mark.
Evaluation: Terry can make an impact on special teams, and shows good reps as a kick returner. He has excellent vision and good footwork, leaving him space to run is a big mistake. He can be used as a Swiss army knife, and I like his ability to make plays as a ball carrier in Option Reps, and Jet sweeps. There are limited pass catcher snaps, and he mainly has film in the backfield for St. Peter’s, where he can slow the play down behind the LOS, and cut through gaps with quick footwork and speed. He projects as a WR given his height and weight, but if RB is the position for him, he should look to add more weight and muscle to improve as a physical ball carrier, against bigger DL, and LB’s.
