About Joseph

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my play style at fast pace and aggressive. I am not scared of contact and can make a move in the open field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always trust in the Lord and how he provides strength to me to fight off the hard tasks at hand.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I took part in a leadership group in middle school and am a part of the leadership team for football.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a great bond with my teammates and that has given me a role as a leader.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced injury a couple times - I've had two hernias and very bad shin splints during track season and it's been hard when I can't compete. But by focusing on the things I can control - rehab and taking care of myself - I'm back and feeling great!

Anytime Joesph touches the ball he wants to run you over. He is an imposing figure at running back standing at 6 ‘1 and weighing 200 pounds. Once he gets to the second level, Joesph is hard to take down. At times it feels like you need an army to bring him down as his legs are always churning for more yards. In the passing game, he is a weapon out of the backfield and uses his sneaky speed to make huge plays. He had an unreal stat line of 230 total yards and 4 rushing touchdowns. Joesph, a Dordt University commit, is primed for a huge senior season on the ground this year.
