Scanning the various fields and position groups congregated at NDSU’s first FBS camp would undoubtedly have your eyes find on River Falls High School’s pickup truck of a 2028 RB Trevor Bartlett Trevor Bartlett 6'2" | 205 lbs | RB River Falls | 2028 State WI . Towering over his peers and position group members, you’d have thought it was a senior who was paired in an underclassmen group, or maybe lost LB or DL in the wrong group, but no. This rising junior is an XL RB, and he had some serious juice to back up the size. With nimble feet and some impressive body control for his size and age, Bartlett was a standout during drill work and the various exercises the prospects were cycled through, and he did a good job of keeping his eyes up and generally staying in good position, not overextending or getting off balance, and bending at the hips.
Plus, Bartlett had a ton of acceleration and burst, both in drill and competitive action, and his hands were simultaneously soft when catching passes and strong when dealing with contact. Watching Bartlett absolutely crush a kid during RB vs. LB pass pro reps sealed the deal for me in terms of figuring out if this kid was a stud or not, and watching him win reps and act as a dynamic route runner and pass-catching weapon out of the backfield only sweetened the pot. Could beat much smaller LBs vertically with ease during 1v1s. River Falls has some fun weapons going into the 2026 season.

River Falls has a ton of production to replace this year from the OL to QB to RB1. Luckily for them, the next man up at RB1 is coming off some solid contribution as a sophomore. Trevor added 54/362/3 to the explosive River Falls ground game in 2025. However, the graduating senior ahead of him leaves nearly 2,000 rushing yards open for the taking. Trevor looks built for the job. He has a fantastic frame at 6’2″ 205 lbs. A frame that can handle the wear and tear, the tough yardage, and the overall physical demands of the position. The clips from 2025 show that Trevor is going to be a problem to bring down. He is so strong and despite the long frame we don’t see him get knocked off balance very often. He is big, strong, and ready for a massive junior season.
