This was their 4th straight week breaking 40 points, going for 56 this week. The majority of that came from the big right arm of Tino. The senior QB has a perfect frame for standing tall in the pocket, scanning the defense, and then delivering the ball exactly where it needs to be based on the leverage of the DB or coverage overall. The pocket passer has been surgical all year long. He understands when to use touch vs velocity. His decisions have been quick and correct. There is so much to like about his game. More teams should be lining up for his services.

Tino and River Falls had one of the top upset victories of the week with their win over Rice Lake. The senior QB led the way with an outstanding performance. The senior QB checked every box with the variety of throws during the upset. Tino delivered dimes with touch over the middle between levels. He fired missiles into tight windows. He also flashed the arm to push the ball deep and drop it in a bucket to his speedy WRs. Whether it be using touch or letting the arm strength show off, Tino was always accurate. A northern WI QB that has had our attention for while here at PRZ WI is River Falls’ Tino Massa Tino Massa 6'4" | 205 lbs | QB River Falls | 2026 State WI . The junior looks the part at 6’4″ 195 lbs. On Sunday the junior came out and showed off a live arm that has the power to go throw for throw with the rest of the top kids in his Class. Tino proved he is able to generate power and put velocity on his passes. It didn’t matter if his feet were set or not. That was great to see repeatedly in person because it flashes throughout his junior highlights. The big QB also plays with an efficient throwing motion that was very consistent. That consistency has aided him a lot in being an accurate passer.

That accuracy was on every rep I watched, and it also translated to the field. In 2024, Tino was a 65% passer while attacking every level of the defense. There is room for the junior to become even more fluid in his movements in the pocket that could bring even more power to his throws, and accuracy. I’m excited to watch Tino continue to develop.

The big-framed, big arm QB was letting it fly Friday night. The arm strength really shines on tape this week as he pushed the ball 30, 35, and 40+ yards downfield. Multiple of those big throws came while he was on the move or while he was off-platform with defenders right in his face. The junior clearly believes in his arm and it delivered in Week 8.
