is another name I will be throwing at college coaches recruiting un-offered 2025s. Rayner is a HS DL prospect who can penetrate from every single alignment. On tape, you’ll see him align anywhere from 4-3 DE to 4-3 DT. Leverage use and strength makes Rayner a servicable DL that can align shading either guard, as well as strong-side tackles. Next-level position will likely depend on his weight at the time, and if his college coaches want him to bulk up or slim down. A rep on tape shows Rayner BR into the backfield, recognize the pass to the flat, release and get on his horse to track down the BC 20 yards downfield. Looked like a OLB here yet he’s pushing 250 pounds, an athlete for sure. Majority of reps come in support of the run. Like his projection to 3-4 DE at the next level. One of the seven unoffered DL whose tape I deemed worthy of scholarship offers earlier this month.
