Coming into this game I knew of Joey as a gunslinger. While he still can rip the ball as good as any quarterback in Wisconsin, I was extremely impressed with his improvisation and scrambling skills. When he would have to move around the pocket, it never seemed like he was flustered or uncomfortable. Either he would scramble enough for one of his receivers to flash open or he would tuck it and run and make a defender miss. He displayed some juke moves that most skill position player don’t even have. As a passer Joey had a couple fast balls that he rifled down the sideline to his receivers. Joey will only get better throughout the season, and I expect big offensive numbers from the senior quarterback this year.
