This future Tennessee Volunteer didn’t make a huge impact on offense but it was his work on defense that landed him inside this piece. Tall, long and athletic, Wyatt’s physical tools were tough to throw around for the Raptors offense. He even picked off Chance in the 2nd half with an outstanding leap and grab deep down the field. It’s still unknown what position Wyatt will handle in college but on Saturday night, his athleticism flashed big time, so wherever he lands, I expect the Pats senior to make an impact.

Making a difference defensively was Joel Wyatt Joel Wyatt 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR/EDGE Oakland | 2026 State TN , a wide receiver/edge at Oakland High School. Wyatt made his presence known in the second half, punishing Ravenwood’s offense in the air by hauling in a huge interception. The Tennessee signee continued to prove why he’s one of the top players in the state.

I was additionally impressed with Joel Wyatt Joel Wyatt 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR/EDGE Oakland | 2026 State TN , a wide receiver/edge at Oakland High School. Wyatt made a huge difference on both sides of the ball. Offensively, Wyatt stood out in the first half, hauling in a 42-yard touchdown pass. Wyatt’s defensive performance came in the second half when he elevated off the ground to pick off Rockvale’s offense in a crucial offensive drive for the Rockets.

Joel Wyatt Joel Wyatt 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR/EDGE Oakland | 2026 State TN was targeted early on a screen pass and showed his athleticism and long strides as he glided down the field for a 69-yard touchdown.

He showed well from his safety position, nearly grabbing an interception as well as effectively coming downhill to make plays on ball carriers.

He played more of a rover safety in this game and that freed him up to use his traits and just take away any chance at explosive plays for the opposing offense.

In the first place spot on my list is Joel Wyatt Joel Wyatt 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR/EDGE Oakland | 2026 State TN , a wide receiver/edge at Oakland High School. Wyatt made a huge difference on the defensive side of the ball, utilizing his outstanding size and speed to protect the backfield. I also liked Wyatt’s physicality, proving he can hit receivers hard after the catch. The Tennessee commit also impressed me with his wingspan, using his arms to swat the ball away.
