Jaylin Cooke is an electric WR out of Hillcrest who really impressed me with his tape this past week- his junior season was filled with him making huge plays all around the field, it’s going to be seriously exciting watching him play this fall.
Cooke burns DBs with his speed- he’s incredibly fast and is an explosive deep threat who can make huge plays downfield at a moment’s notice. He’s not just a deep threat though, he can also create plays off short passes by using his quickness and speed to make defenders miss and go to work after the catch. Cooke also has an impressive set of hands, he brought in some tough passes downfield last season and made it look easy.
Earlier this week Cooke announced some massive news- he picked up his first offer from West Alabama! Special congratulations to him, he absolutely deserves it- I won’t be surprised if we see more sent his way soon!
