Jayden Peter was an absolute standout to watch in person at Rush-Henrietta this season. The ability at the DE position to come off the LOS with speed, urgency, and purpose are big-time traits. Continuously chasing after the QB or ball carrier to make TFLs would flash. Equally important, he is the type of player that will chase ball carriers down from behind often. Peter flies all over the field on tape and loves contact. Brute strength was additionally shown at the TE position when making blocks at the edge. It would transition over when shedding off blockings quickly as a defender. Peter is a talented junior with physical tools, high effort, and a bright future ahead.

Formerly, the physical nature and pass rush ability that he displayed coming off the LOS was outstanding. Peters has fast hands and the ability to turn offensive linemen around with multiple moves. Attacking in the run game and setting the edge was a critical component that stood out on multiple occasions. Breaking through the LOS to swat passes down did as well. Continuing to develop as a pure pass rusher in taking that next step will be critical for Peters.
