Jayden Jones Jayden Jones 6'3" | 210 lbs | DL Millville | 2026 State NJ earns the superlative for most explosive, and his film clarifies why. The Millville standout has a lightning-fast get-off, and he is one of the best in his class. His first-step quickness immediately disadvantages offensive tackles, allowing him to create pressure before they can set their feet.
Beyond his burst, Jayden knows how to use his hands effectively, shedding blocks in both the run and pass game. He’s not just a speed rusher—he plays with power and technique, which is why top programs like Illinois, Miami, and Michigan have taken notice.
The next step for Jayden is building consistency and making an impact on every down. If he can refine that part of his game, he has the tools to be a game-changer at the next level. As it stands, he’s already one of the most coveted defensive prospects in the 2026 class.

Top Attribute: Relatively raw with tremendous potential
I think it was two years ago when Jayden Jones Jayden Jones 6'3" | 210 lbs | DL Millville | 2026 State NJ was a freshman that I saw him on the camp circuit. With a great get off, Jones is a great pass rusher who knows to match the hand should he not get home. Jones gets hands on and quickly works a violent disengagement/shed move. With his open field speed, he has the ability to save big plays before they happen. Jones’ hands show they work upwards above his eyes at times, but with his sudden burst we see that he bends the corner extremely well. Lastly, Jones possesses raw strength with the ability to lift and dump his matchup without much bend.

A bonafide FBS prospect who currently holds several offers and that colleges are frequently traveling down to South Jersey to visit, Jones is a rising freshman with all the physical tools to succeed. First, Jones clearly has top-end size and a frame to match. The most impressive thing is that he is just a 2026 graduate. As such, he has both plenty of time to continue to and room to grow. That said, Jones was very physical during the showcase. Specifically, I noted that he did a nice job using the long arm and turning speed into power. However, what might have impressed me the most was the motor that Jones plays with. He never gave up on a play and kept fighting and working until the whistle blew. This caused him to win numerous spins via sheer effort after his initial move was made.
