Expert Analysis
Andy Pham | Prep Redzone Scout
Evans comes in from Idaho, and he’s had a productive offseason. He’s done well at camps and at 7’s events. He’s built a good rapport with Palepoi and will be a key playmaker. The Davis cornerbacks are athletic, but don’t have the size to match up. He should feast on contested targets and in the red zone against Davis. This will be his coming-out party in the Utah classification. A big year is ahead for him.

Evans comes in from Idaho and debuts as the WR21 and the 144th-ranked prospect in the state. He has a good frame, and the big-bodied receiver will be a big target in the red and green zones and could have double-digit touchdowns this season. He is strong at the catch point and uses his body to shield defenders, and is good at contested catches. He shows good speed for his size and the ability to create late separation. He had a good year in Idaho last year, where he did well at creating after the catch and coming up big in key situations. Evans is primed to seize the WR1 role at Brighton this year.
