Matheson is an exceptional interior Offensive Lineman. He is light on his feet, moves well laterally, makes for an excellent pulling lineman and he easily gets to the second level. In pass protection, he holds up well and will look to chip and help out his fellow linemen. He’s perhaps the unsung hero of that entire line.

Matheson has good size and will continue to grow into his frame. He’s a physical interior offensive lineman who shows good footwork and being light on his feet. Matheson is a good puller and displays good lateral quickness and he looks to take on a body and get to the second level. He excels with his first step and showcases a good base and active hands. Matheson’s techniques allows him to be successful in pass pro and run blocking. He shows good strength and plays through the whistle. Matheson should get recruited regionally.

At the 2025 Power House 5v5 event, Matheson put together a great showing. He has a quick first step that gains positioning and he uses that footwork to move well laterally and his hand-fighting technique is excellent. Matheson kept his man in front of him and used his physicality to hold his position. He has a strong base and moves exceptionally well.

Quickness to set his base, hands to give contact, sutain feet and balance and an anchor to avoid giving up ground.
