Javen Huddleston Javen Huddleston 6'0" | 185 lbs | RB Bowling Green | 2024 State KY is a speedy RB prospect that makes it nearly impossible for the defense to keep up with once he breaks out onto the open field. Huddleston, a 6’0 180lbs 2024 grad from Bowling Green High School had a great 2022 season running the ball as he recorded 144 carries for 1,184 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns in 13 games played (8.2 rushing yards per carry; 91 rushing yards per game). The common theme for Javen is once he sees a wide-open running late and breaks loose without much contact, nobody catching him. Even with some contact when breaking loose, Huddleston’s strength enables him to break off initial tackles and maintain his top-speed running. Huddleston uses his dynamic running mechanics when receiving the football as well. Javen has an outstanding route running for being a primary HB, as he can create separation with little difficulty and find himself open to catching the pass. Javen is truly a dual-threat RB who can beat the opposing defense on both the receiving end and running with the football. As of now, he has received one collegiate offer however I expect more to come his way by the end of his upcoming senior season.

He is coming off an impressive junior year in which he carried the ball 144 times for 1,184 yards and 16 touchdowns. Huddleston is electric once he hits the second level. He is able to use his blazing speed to run away from the defense and break away on long runs at any given moment. Huddleston is also able to use that speed to get to the outside in a hurry and turn the corner with a full head of steam. Javen is also a very dangerous threat in the passing game, finishing his junior year with 27 receptions for 334 yards and four touchdowns. Huddleston currently holds one offer from Kentucky Wesleyan but I expect more to come his way as I believe he has the talent to play as high as the Division I level.

The first thing that sticks out when watching Huddleston is his speed. He hits the running lane with a tremendous amount of burst and keeps going right past the opposing defense. Huddleston is also able to use his speed to get to the outside and turn up around the corner. He has also shown the ability to make defenders miss in the open field. Huddleston also showed that he is a very dangerous threat in the passing game, catching 27 passes for 334 yards and four touchdowns this season. Javen doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect some to come his way going into his senior year as he has received some college interest and has the talent to play at the next level.
