Jaquan Jones Jaquan Jones 6'2" | 285 lbs | DL Central | 2027 State AL is not built like your typical freshman DL prospect. He checks in at a brute 6’2 295 and sets the tone in the middle of the defense. His future physical development will come from refining his already large stature, which should add more athleticism to his game. He is still a little raw and clunky, but that is to be expected with young big guys. For such a large prospect, he does a good job of getting sideways and running with blockers on stretch and outside run plays. He keeps his feet anchored to the turf, which prevent him from getting washed and allows him to toy around with blockers once he has a hold on them. He is also just nearly impossible to move, which makes an impact on every snap. Jones has P4 upside, especially as he continues to grow as an athlete.

- t
- Defensively he compliments his get-off with a violent strike and separation from the OL as well as an effective escape, good level change of hips and redirect to the ball.
- *Projection analysis at DL, 5 technique or on the edge as a DE. Kid can play, great student and committed to his craft.
- Training with “Garage Strength”, I know he will continue to be explosive.
- *Excellent player and very good recruit!

Self-dubbed as the next Jordan Davis Jordan Davis 6'0" | 175 lbs | LB Wenonah | 2026 State AL , Jones is listed at 6-foot-2, 285 pounds on social media. That’s a lofty comparison, but he’s a wide body with a strong base and quick feet at Defensive Tackle. He does a nice job firing off the ball, getting past his defender and reading/reacting to the opposing backfield. He’s got the the frame and potential to be a big time player in the state over the next several seasons, especially at a program consistently turns out next level kids. He’s certainly one to keep an eye on.
