Price ended last year with 48 total tackles, 8.5 sacks, and 18 tackles for loss.

If you haven’t checked out any of Price’s tape, I highly recommend you do so. He’s already looking like one of the top pass rushers in the class.

This is my first look at Price, who is productive both as a run defender and a pass rusher for Central. He is listed around 6’2 230 with plenty of length, which he makes good use of by striking, extending, and ripping through blocks. He tends to do so cleanly. He plays with good instincts and recognition, settling down in an alley with a ball carrier and using his length to engulf. He projects long-term as an edge setter, where his instincts and wide net as a tackler will provide the most value.

Price continues to be a tone-setter in the trenches. Though listed at 227 pounds, he consistently plays bigger— showing the strength and will to move blockers off their spot. His plus wingspan gives him control during engagement, while his urgent, violent hands make him a problem for linemen trying to stay locked on.

Price sets a hard edge, plays disciplined football against the run, and thrives in pursuit when the play extends. His motor never cools, allowing him to rack up second-chance sacks, TFLs, and pressures off sheer determination.

Price was fantastic in his team’s win over First Academy, recording 7 total tackles (6 solo, 3 for loss) and 2 sacks.

I’m seriously impressed with Price. I hadn’t watched him up unitln this week, and man, he has a bright future ahead. I have a feeling we’ll be hearing his name a ton over the next few years.
