Recruiting Report (5/4)- Newest Offers From Last Week

We're back with a new Recruiting Report!   Today, we're diving into some recent recruiting news across the state. These prospects have had huge months, so we're diving into the latest surrounding their recruitment.   As always, make sure you watch their film below! You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent.    [player_tooltip player_id='1643081' first='Jayden' last='Milledge'] is a talented 2027 EDGE from Prattville who's seen an increase in recruiting attention this offseason.   "After starting his career on the offensive line, Milledge has found a ton of success on Prattville's defensive front. He's explosive, has a high motor, and can rush the passer and defend the run at a really impressive level. Milledge overwhelms whoever's blocking him with his mix of speed, leverage, and power. He's a tough assignment for anyone on the opposing offensive line, it's clear to see.   I love watching how much effort Milledge puts in. He never quits on plays and will sometimes work through multiple blockers to get to the ball carrier and create stops. When you pair that with his pursuit skills and ability to get behind the line of scrimmage, it makes him incredibly valuable on every single down.   Last week, Milledge added a new offer to his list, this time from Mercer!   With how productive Milledge has been the last two seasons, I won't be surprised if more schools take notice and reach out with offers. He's shown a bunch of great things on tape. Take a look at his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='2145503' first='Hayden' last='Coleman'] is a talented defender from Theodore who's started to make a name for himself in the recruiting world this offseason.   Coleman is a talented LB who dominates from the middle of the field every snap. He's fantastic at defending the run. It's so impressive seeing how easily he recognizes and adjusts plays- he's always in the right place at the right time, consistently leading to stops for little to no gain.   On top of that, Coleman is just as productive on passing downs. He's so quick to react and has impressive speed he uses to cover ground and make plays in coverage. We all need to watch out for Coleman moving forward. He's shown a ton of great things already; it's clear he has a huge year ahead."   Last week, Coleman landed himself a new offer, this time from Troy!   Coleman's recruitment has taken off in the last few months, and it makes sense why. He's a productive defender with a ton of skill and potential who's only gotten better each year. Take a look at his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='2161424' first='Bray'don' last='Davis'] is an impressive OL prospect from Tuscaloosa Central who's seen a huge uptick in his recruitment this offseason.   "Davis is a devastating run blocker. He explodes off the ball, is seriously mobile at his size, and uses his strength, power, and leverage to level out defenders and clear up space for his teammates to capitalize on.   On top of that, Davis is just as good in pass protection. His lateral quickness, leverage, and ability to react pay off huge for him- very few pass rushers have any success against him. Davis is excellent at keeping them outside of the pocket and away from his quarterback every time he drops back."   Last week, Davis picked up two new offers from Samford and Alabama State!   I'm really looking forward to Davis' senior season this fall. He's picked up a ton of recruiting attention, and rightfully so- he was really impressive last fall and has put together some great tape. Take a look for yourself below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1864620' first='Marcus' last='Price'] was of the state's top pass rushers last season and has seen a big increase in his recruitment since the end of the season.   "At 6'2 230, Price has the size, athleticism, and hands to be a dominant player in the trenches. He's quick off the snap, has impressive power, and has a set of quick, violent hands he uses to work around OL and get into the backfield.   Once in the backfield, Price has impressive closing speed and tackling technique that he uses to pressure/take down the quarterback. I'm really impressed with Price's game and am excited to watch him down the stretch of this season- him and Tristan Lyles make an awesome pairing on Central's defensive front."   Price picked up two new offers in the last week or so, adding Colorado and Alabama State to his list!   I think Price could end up as one of the top EDGE prospects in the class. He's seriously productive and already shown a bunch of great things on tape. We all need to look out this fall. Take a look at his film below:      Malaikai Cooper is a talented OL we've had our eyes on recently, and he's continuing to make a name for himself this offseason.   "Cooper is a dominant OT/OG who opened up so many big plays for James Clemens's rushing attack last season. At 6'4 270, Cooper has great size and athleticism he uses to create key blocks on the move, consistently pulling across the line of scrimmage and working level-to-level to help pave the way for his teammates.   I'm really impressed with Cooper's strength and leverage- he bulldozed defenders into the dirt last season and has a ton of traits that will help him continue to help him dominate the trenches."   Cooper added a new offer from Samford this past week!   I really think the best is ahead for Cooper. He's been seriously reliable for Hames Clemens and is starting to get the attention he deserves.
