Jamir or “JJ” is a monster and a hard task to defend. He’s got great athleticism for his size and moves efficiently. Jamir is a great run stuffer. As a nose tackle, he plays with tons of power and can knock back his interior matchups. He can move his matchups towards ball carriers if he can’t get off his block to slow down ball carriers. I would like to see him develop a wider set of pass-rush moves to become a more formidable force in the pass game, but the run-stuffing ability and size he brings are hard to find. Jamir recently flipped his commitment from Florida to the in-state Ohio State Buckeyes, and will be someone to watch out for on Saturdays here soon.
