About Jamil

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my playstyle as a fast receiver but I also play aggressive and bigger for my size.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a kid that comes from Norfolk,Virginia that always been around football. I play football because I want to be able to help people with disabilities, give back to the community, show the kids in my area that anything is possible, and give back to the people that helped me on this journey.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed my leadership over the past few years. I show my teammates the love and show them the right things to do and also to not be a follower.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a couple challenges in life such as coaches doubting me, players talking about me while it was also messing with my mental health, I dealt with mom not having all the money in the world but still providing for siblings, I dealt with multiple car crashes and concussions but im still here and fulfilling my dream.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to be the first person in my family to make it to the D1 Level and play at the highest division of football. But if that takes going D2, D3, or even juco I will do that. Anything for me is a blessing.
