If you like old-school football, you’ll love watching James Rice James Rice James Rice 6'1" | 240 lbs | LB Fordham Prep | 2025 State NY play this great game. He’s a terrific mic linebacker who is fearless. He is a hard hitter that is fantastic against the run. He will be a 4-year starter once it’s all said and done. Rice is the leader of this defense and will also be impactful on offense for the Rams. He will line up at tight end and be an excellent blocker and receiver for Fordham.

Fordham Prep returns several key pieces on defense and James Rice James Rice James Rice 6'1" | 240 lbs | LB Fordham Prep | 2025 State NY will be one of the top guys for the Rams. Last year as a sophomore it was very impressive to see how strong Rice was at MLB. He was an old school bone crushing middle linebacker. Runs up the middle will rarely go anywhere against him. Rice is an excellent tackler and a momentum shifting type player on defense.

Most athletes on this list are the WR/CB type but James Rice James Rice James Rice 6'1" | 240 lbs | LB Fordham Prep | 2025 State NY is a all-league LB/FB. As a defender, Rice has really good power and strength to get through blocks and make tackles. As a fullback, he could be the best lead blocker in the state using his upper body strength to consistently push guys out of the way. Athletically, Rice has good quickness for his size and is able to get low and win against bigger blockers but also attack the legs of quick smaller ball carriers. Rice could project as either a FB or LB at the next level with an emphasis on special teams production as well.
