Chiesi is an elite WR threat from the Catholic League who recently picked up his first offer from Trinity College. I have a D1 FCS-D2 Grade the talented WR out of Fordham Prep, and he rose over 60 spots in the latest rankings update. Chiesi has the potential to play on both sides of the ball, and he displays an elite 6’0″ 190-Pound frame perfect for a pass catcher. As a Wr, he is quick off the line, and shows the ability to gain separation from the defense with the use of his hands, and some good footwork. He can get his hip low with his cuts at the top of his routes, and is a balanced runner with the ball in his hands. Separation is key for Chiesi but he does have a tool bag of moves he can breakout with ease to break away for bing time gains. At the POA, he is a physical playmaker who can bring in tough plays and 50/50 balls, showing good hands. I like Chiesi as a prospect and I can easily see him with a breakout season in the fall.

Standing at 5’11” 170-Pounds, Chiesi displays a solid build for the WR position. He displays a 4.6 40-Speed and was named a WR with Hands of Gold by Matt Di Domenico.

On tape, he excels in the screen game. Following a reception on a screen pass, he demonstrates his 4.6 Speed and takes off down the sideline. His IQ is also elite as he cuts in and out of the field waiting for blocks on every play. He has solid hands and despite a lean build showcases good strength and making contested catches as he absorbs contact and pops back up.

Chiesi is one of my favorite 2027 prospects. The Fordham Prep WR had a solid 2024 campaign, but with a fresh start in 2025 we can see some college offers and interests come his way.

To add, he has an large ability to track the football at a fast rate on bubble screens both on the boundary and in the slot. Chiesi has “hands of gold” because of how reliable he is in the short passing game. The ability to catch the ball and turn upfield for YAC was a clear component in his game. Additionally, his toughness in making catches and then absorbing big hits while maintaining control of the ball was a big point of emphasis in his game.
