The Nebraska commit is ranked as our #1 running back in the 2026 class, and a big reason why is the incredible production Jamal has had throughout his career. Jamal has been the centerpiece of his team’s offense for the last couple of years, and this year won’t change that one bit. Jamal’s speed, power, and vision are something fun to watch on Friday Nights!

Not only one of the top NCISAA running backs in the state, Rule is our top-ranked overall running back in the 2026 class. The Nebraska commit’s best trait is his vision, as he usually picks the right hole and he’s quick to hit full speed. He has the long speed to turn long runs into touchdown runs and has the look of a guy who can contribute early at the next level.

Rule has an excellent combination of speed and explosiveness make him a home run threat and that has translated off the field too. A 4×800 state champion, Rule has excellent long speed and good short-area burst. He’s also a bigger back and that power can show itself on film. Overall, he’s an impressive next-level prospect.

It was a close decision, but Jamal ended up with the #1 spot in this ranking, and is the #1 running back in the 2026 class in North Carolina. Jamal’s physical body is well put together, and he has a strong year last season after leading the state in rushing the year before. Jamal has been hot on the recruiting trail as well this off-season, picking up several Division 1 offers. He should be the focal point for the Knights offense once again this upcoming season.
