Watts had 3 receptions for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns. The 6’2 165-pound receiver used his burning speed to blaze past the defense with his longest reception being 48 yards. Watts has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. He has a good release at the line of scrimmage against both off coverage and press jam. He’ll use his physicality and athletic ability to create separation, whether outrunning the DB at the top of the route or out muscling them. Very good catching and good ball tracking skills. Rips the ball out of the air. Good ball adjustment and very good body control. He’ll use good juke moves to make defenders miss after the catch. Great performance by the senior, helping Mesa Ridge get to the 2^nd round.
