Carsrud was a breakout RB for Elko last fall rushing for over 800 yards and 15 TDs as a junior. The 6’/190 senior is a highly phyisical runner that can power his way through the teeth of the defense and generate downhill momentum in a hurry. Look for Carsrud to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in his senior season this fall.

Carsrud was a breakout playmaker in northern Nevada rushing for 850 yards and 15 TDs on 117 carries as the lead back for Elko this season. Strong, physical runner at 6’/190 that likes to get downhill and attack the lane. Difficult ball-carrier to bring down in the open field with the power and momentum he can generate past the first level and possesses the agility to cut and find space around the LOS. Room for growth in some of the fundamentals and intricacies of the position (square shoulders, pressing the LOS, setting up blocks) but presents an appealing raw skillset worth keeping an eye. Carsrud is one of the top RBs to watch in northern Nevada heading into 2025.
