I’m explosive off the line and take on double and triple teams, controlling the line and making it tough for anyone to stop me

I’m a humble, strong, and hard-working player who stays tough and is always focused on improving every part of my game.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a leader on and off the field, with over 30 volunteer hours serving organizations like the Humane Society, the Eddy House (youth homeless shelter), and local elementary schools in my community.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that challenges me academically while also giving me the opportunity to compete at the Division I level in football. I want a school where I can grow both on and off the field, surrounded by teammates and classmates who push me to improve.

Cherry picked up his first D-I offer from Northern Arizona this week. The 6’3″/310 DT out of Bishop Manogue was a new addition to the overall top-50 rankings after a breakout junior season in the fall. Tallied 23 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 7 TFLs in 2025. He’s a big, physical defender along the interior that’s extremely violent with his hands, sheds and locates the ball with urgency, and can drive interior OL off the ball with his power and leverage. Expect Cherry to continue to generate buzz on the recruiting trail with the physicality he brings to the DL.
