McGohan high school career has been a human highlight reel of one handed and contested catches. McGohan, a hybrid tight end from Miamisburg HS, originally committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats, but after head coach Luke Fickell left for Wisconsin, it opened the door for a change of heart. McGohan, would go onto decommit to Cincinnati and commit to LSU a short time later. At 6’4 210 and long arms, McGohan has the length that D1 P5 coaches long for. He has top end speed for a linebacker running in the low 4.6’s at camp in the summer before his junior season. He tracks the ball well and has as good of ball skills as I’ve seen from a high school tight end. Based on seeing him in person on multiple occasions, I really believe that Jackson is one of the top tight ends in the country. For whatever reason he’s flown mostly under the radar to this point. That time is coming to an end however, as he takes his talents to SEC country and looks to make highlight reel type catches in Tiger Stadium.
