Colerain (C/O 2024)
6’2 165
The Skinny~ Myrick is a long smooth athlete. He has really started to come onto the D1 recruiting scene just this offseason. In the last couple of months he’s picked up several offers from the likes of Toledo, Kent State, and Miami of Ohio. He’s also getting interest from hometown UC and Louisville. This offseason should be a big chance for Corey to continue building momentum and possibly land some P5 offers.
DB Terhyon Nichols
Withrow (C/O 2024)
5’11 175
The Skinny~ Nichols is coming off a strong sophomore season where he firmly put his name in the discussion of P5 recruiting in the Midwest. He’s an athletic corner with a fierce break on the ball. When he gets his hands on it, he’s a threat to house it! He has a lean frame and as he continues to add weight and strength, the sky is the limit for this young man! Recently Nichols has picked up P5 offers from Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Pitt, Cincinnati, and Notre Dame among others in just in the last couple of weeks. Things will only heat up this camp season.
TE Gavin Grover Gavin Grover 6'6" | 220 lbs | TE Olentangy | 2024 State OH
Olentangy (C/O 2024)
6’6 226
The Skinny~ Grover is a long and well put together athlete. He’s more of your traditional tight end who is going to line up inline and who’ll be able to hurt opposing defenses both with his receiving and blocking ability. He does a great job of finding the seam in the defenses and his long frame gives his QB a big target. Grover picked up his first D1 offer at the end of April with an offer from Kentucky. In the least week things have heated up big time with offers from Michigan State, Iowa State, and Cincinnati. I expect the offers to keep coming this offseason as P5’s get him on campus.
TE Jackson McGohan Jackson McGohan 6'4" | 230 lbs | TE Miamisburg | 2023 State OH
Miamisburg (C/O 2023)
6’4 215
The Skinny~ McGohan committed to Cincinnati back in January, but that hasn’t stopped the Power 5 community from taking notice of the Vikings receiving talent. Jackson is a long and athletic hybrid TE with a pension for making highlight reel catches. He’s a mismatch from most that he lines up against, to big and strong for defensive backs and to fast and athletic for linebackers. In January the TE landed offers from Pitt and Illinois along with several MAC schools. In the last month things have heated up again with offers from Purdue, Indiana, Iowa, and the Miami Hurricanes. Is there a school that can get McGohan to reconsider, or will he stay committed to the Bearcats? Stay tuned!
ATH Tra’Mar Harris
Winton Woods (C/O 2024)
6’2 185
The Skinny~ When you put on Harris’s film, one of the first things that pops is his route running. He’s very sudden and precise in his breaks. When you take his ability to separate with his route running and add to that a long slender frame, you can see why he’s starting to heat up big time. In the last 2 weeks Harris has picked up offers from Purdue, Georgia Tech, and Kentucky. With all of the talent on the Winton Woods 2021 state championship team, Harris wasn’t a focal point of the offense. I expect that to change going into his junior season.
OL Luke Hamilton Luke Hamilton 6'6" | 290 lbs | OL Avon | 2024 State OH
Avon (C/O 2024)
6’6 290
The Skinny~ The massive Sophomore offensive tackle has had as big a recruiting offseason as any player in Ohio. Hamilton is a stout force in the run game and pass pro. He’s athletic enough to beat the speed rush and strong enough to handle a bull rush. With his frame and the time, he has to grow both physically and in technique it’s easy to see why he was ranked as our #1 player in the 2024 class. In January Luke picked up his first D1 offer from Penn State. He followed that offer up with offers from Kentucky, Iowa State, and Michigan State before the end of the month. Since then he’s pulled offers from the likes of Michigan, Boston College, Pitt, Nebraska, Tennessee, among many, many others. Can he land an offer from the Buckeye’s this offseason? Keep watch!
TE/DE Caden Piening Caden Piening 6'4" | 230 lbs | TE Anderson | 2025 State OH Anderson (C/O 2025)
Anderson (C/O 2025)
6’5 225
The Skinny~ Quite simply, Piening, is a man-child. Right now I think his highest ceiling is at Tight End, but I’m very interested to see how he develops on the defensive side of the ball as well. At tight end his combo of size and athleticism is pretty special. To have a young man at his age with the coordination and ability to hands catch away from his body like he does is really incredible. Now as a freshman there are things that he can work and you see moments where it really looks like he doesn’t know how good and dominant he can be. You never want to put to much on a kid of Caden’s age, but to say he’s a really exceptional prospect would simply be a understatement. The offers are starting to fall in line with that kind of talk as he’s picked them up from Kentucky, West Virginia, UCONN, Indiana, and Vanderbilt. The reality is those offers are just the tip of the iceberg, and they could start to come fast and furious this offseason.
