Do you need someone to hold the extra points/field goals? Jack is your guy. Do you need a big play at wide receiver? Jack is your guy. The kid just knows how to play the game of football. He also has legit wide receiver skills. He has good quickness and speed. If a defensive back gives him a step he will make a play. He also shows good hands and catches the ball well, especially in tight coverage. Last week in the playoffs he made one of the best plays. They ran a hook and ladder play. Jack got the ball thrown to him, it went high, and he went up top to get the ball and then delivered a great pitch to the Cedar Crest player for a long touchdown. He is good at running deep routes as he is at running short routes and making defenders miss. He has legit speed and can run by defenders well with his speed. He also does a good job after the catch and making defenders miss, by doing subtle moves against defenders. Finally Waranavage is a good blocker and takes pride in his blocking downfield to help his offensive teammates.

Jack Waranavage Jack Waranavage 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Cedar Crest | 2025 State PA is a talented wide receiver for Cedar Crest. He is equally as good as a slot receiver as she is as an outside receiver. He does a good job of tracking the ball and catching the ball in between defenders. As a slot receiver, he shows a good ability to catch short passes like receiver screens and make tacklers miss. He is especially good in space making people miss. He also returned punts and did a good job of making defenders miss and using the speed to run by the punt team. Waranavage is a good prospect in the 2025 class who should get a good chance to play College Football.

Waranavage’s film showed him as a wide receiver, a holder, and a punt returner. As a wide receiver he has some of the best hands I have seen from a player. He also runs excellent routes and knows exactly how to set up defensive backs to get open. He also catches the ball well in traffic by making difficult catches. As a returner, he has good speed and ability to make defenders miss. Waranavage is a good player who has the tools to play at the next level.

Waranavage played wide receiver, safety, long snapper, and punt returner for Cedar Crest. He is a good athlete that has excellent body control. At wide receiver, he does a nice job catching the ball when it is contested catches. He runs good routes and knows how to find the soft spot in the zone to get open. The other part of his game is he can play both slot and outside receiver. At free safety, he shows good range and coverage skills. Waranavage ability to play a lot of positions should also help him with college coaches. He has the skills to play college football and with more experience, he should have a good chance.
