Easterly will be a key defender for Northfield as his ability to read and react will be one of major factors for this defense. He is quick to come downhill to make a play and can meet the ball carrier in the backfield bringing them down in a hurry. He has a good first step and can make it into the backfield to meet the RB right when they are getting the ball at times. He will be needed in the running game to stop George Washington’s explosive backs but he also shows the ability to drop back into coverage as well.

Easterly is a player that has good vision, being able to read and react to his keys. He comes downhill and fills his gap with speed and shows good feet being able to scrape overtop when the play spills to the outside. He is an aggressive player that is able to jar the ball loose at times, punching the ball out and creating a short fields for his team. He is also able to drop back into coverage and rally to the receiver bring him down quickly not allowing extra yardage.
