Wright was a consistent and reliable target for Notre Dame as a junior racking up 49 receptions for 508 yards and 4 touchdowns. 6’0” 160 lbs. he’s got a lean frame with room to add mass as he develops without losing his smooth athleticism and speed. He bursts off the line with a strong drive phase, utilizes a variety of release moves, and breaks off defenders with sharp, temp controlled routes. Tracks the ball in the air with ease, extends naturally at the catch point, and easily adjusts to off target throws with body control and coordination. Finishes tough catches in tight windows, and is able to slip tackles, cut quickly, and accelerate into space. Look for him to build on his production entering his senior year.

is the type of “get him the ball and let him go to work” receiver that gives DCs headaches all week. He’s got legit track speed and you see it immediately in the screen game and quick hitters — one crease, one missed tackle, and now everyone’s taking bad angles. Incredibly slippery after the catch because he doesn’t just run fast; he’s hard to square up in space, and he’s got that suddenness that makes defenders look like they’re tackling air. The production backs it up: he caught 49 balls for 508 yards and four scores in 2025. His measurables line up with what you’re seeing — the kind of speed where coaches don’t have to overthink it: bubble, glance, quick out, now make somebody tackle him. When an offense has a guy like that, the easy stuff stops being “easy” and starts being explosive.

is another potential breakout weapon for this offense. Wright, who primarily served as a kicker for the Notre Dame team last season, will look to take on a larger role to help his team win, more specifically on offense. Wright’s route running, especially at the top of his route, is crisp and elusive. He is excellent at syncing his hips and changing direction in a heartbeat towards his desired area. This allows him the ability to separate from his defenders. He also has some acceleration to maintain distance and allow for a clear target downfield. It will be interesting to see how Wright is further utilized, leveraging his athletic traits.
Jace is one of those guys you might not fully appreciate until you really sit down and watch how he moves. He’s not the flashiest receiver out there, but he just does so many little things right. His route running has some polish already, and he’s got a knack for finding the soft spot in a zone — something that’s easier said than done, especially at this age. What really stood out to me was how natural he looks around the sideline. His body control is legit — he knows exactly how to drag that back foot, keep his balance, and give his QB a window. You can tell he’s truly understanding what’s going on around him. He’s the kind of player coaches trust — not just because he’s talented, but because he plays smart and brings real value every snap.
