He’s got enough athleticism to play on the edge, slide inside in certain situations, and even step back off the ball if you needed it, and it all looks pretty natural. What I liked is how quickly the trigger is once he reads a play — no hesitation, just goes and closes. That urgency shows up in pursuit and is a huge part of what makes you think there’s some untapped versatility there. He’s not the biggest guy out there, but he plays with good leverage and enough toughness to hold up against bigger bodies. As a rusher, you’ll see him win a few different ways and find his way into the backfield more than you’d expect. There’s real value in that kind of flexibility when it’s backed by how hard he plays.
