Sophomore season stats include 34 solo tackles, 25 assists, 59 total tackles, 1 TFL, and 2 sacks. Defensively, Jace shows to be a gritty, physical linebacker. When he hits someone, it is a collision, no more forward progress for the ball carrier. Jace also plays tight end and shows to be a good blocker at times. The technique has some work but he is physical and not afraid to put his face into the defender and drive.
