Perry was the heart and soul of the Northview passing attack last year, and for good reasons. He’s got a lengthy frame that he uses to go up and bring down contested catches. He’s made his fair share of highlight-worthy grabs. He has good straight-line speed and can get behind the defense. He plays out wide and has been a matchup issue for DBs. His 47 grabs for 690 yards and 11 TDs last year were good, but I think he adds to that in his senior year.

One of the guys who had a quiet afternoon and went about his business but still had a good day was Perry. He comes from a school that is figuring its offense out and how to use him downfield. He proved to me at least on Sunday he’s got big play potential. He was able to go up and over a few defenders and make some catches along the sideline. He’s not someone who is always talking and looking for ways to pass the time. He was dialed in and focused from the start and I’m always searching for those kinds of guys.
