About Idrees

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a shifty, physical runner with great hands out of the backfield and break away speed. I am an aggressive route runner that is a hybrid player that can also make great impact at the slot position.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a leader and a hard worker. Leadership is one of my greatest qualities, I lead by example with my hard work during trainining, practice and on the field. I’m also a vocal leader to maintain team morale, energy, and focus.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of my athleticism I am a 4th generation barber. I have learned how to cut hair from my father and have received barbering awards and trophies for participating in events and hair shows. I have also received awards for exemplifying great character at school. I plan to start a barbering club in high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed skills in public speaking from structured debates in school, barbering from my dad, team captaining from my football teams and I have participated in my families back to school haircuts for the community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Although It have been a challenge and an adjustment relocating from Philadelphia to Las Vegas. I have excelled in my academics and my athletic training.

What type of college are you looking for?

The ultimate achievement will be to play for a D1 program, however my greatest goal is to gain a scholarship at a University to further my education while continuing to play the sport that I love.

Davis has broken out as a playmaker out of the backfield for Mater East early into his varsity career. He’s quick and elusive with the ball in his hands and is a hard tackle in space given his smaller size (5’5″/150) and level of burst. He’s shown flashes of a strong receiving skillset, can accelerate through the hole or cut to space, and is a committed blocker in pass-pro situations. Davis will be among the top-ranked RBs in PRZ NV’s 2029 rankings debut.
