The player protecting Michalski’s blindside was a brick wall all season long. Tabansi earned lineman of the year in the AA-1 division of the catholic league. The Buffalo signee moved exceptionally well for his frame at 6’5 285 pounds. In the championship game he helped chase down the opposing team’s safety preventing a pick six. Along with his explosiveness, Tabansi’s power in his run blocking was very impressive. At times he completely cleared the left side of the field.

While he will have to put on some weight for the next level his 6’5 stature and really solid footwork help him dominate opponents. Tabansi is also a really good athlete and blocks well in open space. He has some of the most intriguing athletic traits for any offensive lineman in this class and his strong technique and ability to consistently win at the point of attack makes him the best in New York.
