Stephens played a leading role in Glenwood’s demolition of a solid Creston squad on the road Friday night. The junior piled up 160 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries during the 70-42 victory. He added two catches for 38 yards and three solo tackles. Stephens stands out for his athleticism, previously playing quarterback and standing out in other sports like track. Size and strength pair nicely with a good feel for running the ball. He’s patient in letting his blocks set up and works well off of them. While he’s more of a power-over-speed guy, there’s definitely quickness and shiftiness to his style as well. A projectable frame and agility provide an opportunity to develop at multiple positions for the next level.
