Roy, who is headed all the way up to Toledo, is an absolute gamer and a sneaky good addition out of South GA for the Rockets. He is on the smaller side for an LB, hovering around 6’1 200. However, he is built sturdy into his frame and plays hard to compensate. He is instinctual, doesn’t drop his eyes, plays with good gap integrity, and has the suddenness to find a gear and chase the ball. I love the approach to the football, the instincts, and the athlete. I think there’s a good chance this guy really pops at the next level.
